Impression 2009
Offshore Energy 2009 at a glance
Offshore Energy 2009 welcomed 2263 visitors from the Netherlands and abroad to the Oude Rijkswerf Willemsoord in Den Helder. As many as 117 companies presented their products and services. Both exhibitors and visitors were highly satisfied with the quality of the first business-to-business trade fair of its kind in the Netherlands, aimed at the international offshore and (wind) energy sector.
To those companies present, Offshore Energy 2009 proved an excellent opportunity to meet with their stakeholders and prospects and expand their reputation. Exhibitors valued the trade fair for being well organized, for bringing together the right group of visitors and for the informal ambiance. Visitors showed great interest in walking the trade fair floor and talk to exhibitors but also took time to attend specialized lectures. Both Navingo's seminar on Innovations in Offshore Energy and the MCN Maritime Campus Netherlands' seminar were well received.
Offshore Energy hits the mark
More than once during the day, visitors had to queue to enter the trade fair premises. As hundreds of visitors had not preregistered online, the registration desk was particularly crowded around noon. Visitors having to wait did not mind; they were treated to coffee and Navingo cookies while standing in line.
