Directions

Directions to the Oude Rijkswerf Willemsoord, follow Cape Holland (ANWB-signs):

FROM AMSTERDAM
Follow the A7 in the direction of Leeuwarden and take exit Den Oever/Den Helder (be careful not to miss this exit, as the next exit is on the other side of the Afsluitdijk). Continue on the N99 to Den Helder.

FROM ROTTERDAM
Follow the A9 in the direction of Alkmaar and continue on the N9 to Den Helder.

DEN HELDER
Follow the Texel Ferry Route (ANWB-sign) via the N250-Zuidstraat. Turn right at the second traffic light: Weststraat. Continue with the canal on the right side until the bridge crossing the canal. Driving over the bridge brings you into the Willemsoord terrain. Turn immediately right, before the VVV-office. After approximately 200 meters you will find the parking space P-South.

Public transport

By train
Direct connection from Nijmegen to CS Den Helder.
To the right, finish Beatrixstraat (about 5 minutes). By the traffic light you will find a pedestrian bridge on your left hand, this will lead you to the Oude Rijkswerf Willemsoord. Offshore Energy 2010 will take place in the halls 60E, 60F and 66. The conference program is in Utopolis.

Trains from Schiphol Airport to Den Helder
There are daily trains from Schiphol Airport leaving every half hour ( .29 and .59), starting at 5 AM and the last train leaving at 11:59 PM. There is one change at Amsterdam Sloterdijk. Total travel time: 1:27.

Upon arriving, turn right into Beatrixstraat. Continue walking along Beatrixstraat for approximately 5 minutes. At the traffic lights you will find a pedestrian bridge on your left hand, this will lead you to the Oude Rijkswerf Willemsoord. Offshore Energy 2010 will take place in the halls 60E, 60F and 66. The conference program is in Utopolis.

Trains from Den Helder to Schiphol Airport
There are daily trains from Den Helder leaving every half hour ( .04 and .34), starting at 5.04 AM and the last train leaving at 11.34 PM. There is one change at Amsterdam Sloterdijk. Total travel time: 1:23.
